Mazda 5 wins impressive award! Selected as one of the TOP TEN Favs at Consumer Reports!!

Consumer Reports has just released their top 10 favorite cars and our incrediable Mazda5 is there, for the very first time!

ConsumerReports has just announced its top picks of vehicles in 10 categories this year. Six new models have made it to the list this year. The Top 10 have been chosen from a wide range of over 280 vehicles that were recently tested to meet the criteria set by ConsumerReports. It is the first time in six years that two domestic models have been picked up as the best, or that an European model has made the list.

The top picks are selected based on their performance, reliability and safety. The vehicles are tested primarily in three areas:

1. Road test: The car should rank at the top of its category in the overall test score, which is based on more than 50 tests and evaluations.

2. Reliability: Based on the problems suggested by ConsumerReports customers in the latest Annual Auto Survey, this reliability test should hold an average or better-predicted reliability rating for the car.

3. Safety: Satisfactory performance in overall safety tested by the government or insurance industry is required. The Electronic Stability Control feature should be readily available.
